christianmontoya.com was officially launched on November 1, 2005 with the Fall 2005 CSS Reboot. The design is currently in its fifth version, launched on August 10, 2007.

Techniques

Templating the design in Wordpress was dead easy, and I used CSS for all the styling. The graphics were done in the GIMP. The image in the header is a picture of me on the train from NJ to NYC, and the picture in the footer is Domo-kun. The font in the header is Franklin Gothic.

Final Word

For the record, this site is powered by Wordpress. It was built with valid HTML 4.01 Strict and CSS 2.1.
